When i try to open a windows explorer window ( My computer ) comes up a mesage saying Microsoft Virsual C++ error ( Runtime error). I find your solutions helpful and will try them all to deal with my problem now.
I have windows 7 starter. Another account on the same computer is working fine. I can access the faulty account in safe mode. If i open my main user account on my netbook after it gets through loading a cycle of error messages starts. It says “windows explorer has stopped working”, then it says it is searching for a solution, then it says it is shutting down. the screen goes blank then loads again. There is about a 2 second window and then the cycle starts again. So detailed info here to show me how to fix the problem, thanks a ton!!
