My computer start, I have tried booting from a usb and a cd but it doesn’t read it. It’s not because of the BIOS because I have changed that etc. Start up repair can’t fix the problem and everytime I try to do an option from F8 it just goes straight to startup repair. Some told me to repair the registry, but I did not know what I should do. Glad to find your post and will try them to do now.
My little brothers pc has a pesistant boot failure right before that loading bar at the bottom even starts animating. I was thinking I could run a systems restore, but the only option between advanced stuff that programmers use and startup repair. Start-up repair cannot find a solution or reason for the failure but a diag i ran said there is a corrupted registry. We don’t know where the supposed windows “master” disk is and are trying to figure it out on hand. Appreciated for your post here telling me how to do.
