To fix the Minecraft fatal error 4, just take a look at the program that triggers the error and see whether it works compatibly with the computer. Also, go to the manufacturer’ website, check for available update and install them all. Sometime, the outdated version will cause the appearance of this computer error. And in some other cases, the fatal error 4 messages will happen when there is something wrong with the program showing the error; that is, a corrupt or missing file related to program will stop it from running correctly and then display the error message. At this time, you can simply uninstall and reinstall the program on your computer. This will refresh all the associated files on the PC with brand new one and solve the problem at most of the time.

Also, you must spend some time updating computer drivers. You have to know that a driver is fundamentally a file that manages both external and internal devices, such as scanners or video cards. And all devices on your PC need a corresponding driver to perform correctly. In this way, there are times when other devices that come with CDs need to be installed first before it can be used. It is, of course, easy for these drivers to become out of date and cannot be used correctly by some devices, bringing in the appearance of the fatal error 4 message. According to my own experience, it is best to let your antivirus antispyware program always running in the background to realtime block & remove all threats to the computer.

Also, in order to permanently remove Minecraft fatal error 4 messages, you should not miss one important thing – clean up Windows registry. The registry that contained in the Windows-based Windows operating system is a complex set of instructions. They are essential commands that needed by the system to run your computer and all other hardware/software properly. However, an error in the Windows registry database is normally a main cause for the sluggish computer performance or PC boot up/shutdown problems. So, to ensure the smooth running of your game without fatal error 4 messages, do remember to run a registry cleanup utility to thoroughly scan & fix all registry errors
