    You are right, mcsvhost.exe application error has something to do with McAfee service host application.
    It is to do with McAfee internet security which has recently updated and the interface has changed.

    cSvhost.exe -the instruction ox6280436a referenced memory 0x08eb7dec the memory could not be “written” Click ok to terminate the program. A tech from Mcafee correct their original mess where I couldn’t even get into my computer but now on shut down I get this message. I was able to solve it with the step-by-step solutions here.
