    For the hpcaslnotification.exe problem on my computer, is was caused by too many startup problems.Your excess CPU usage is due to too many programs running in the background. By cutting these to barebones by alter your msconfig can also fix this exe error.

    By getting the computer into safe mode and then reinstall the program that uses the hpcaslnotification.exe file will also fix the computer. You can do this by pressing F8 when Windows starts booting. Then you select “Safe Mode” from the Boot options and log in to your administrator account. Then you should be able to safely install the program and run it.

    Sometimes, the hpcaslnotification.exe error sounds like something to do with the corrupted Windows update.
